Baby joy for Mola Adebisi and wife Adelina: Their son has been born. The couple announced this on Instagram.
The wait is over: Mola Adebisi (51) and his wife Adelina Zilai (37) have welcomed their first child into the world. The former Viva presenter diligently shared updates on the upcoming birth in advance. “Mom and son are doing well… Dad is a bit tearful,” he wrote on July 17, 2024, alongside a selfie with his wife, who is recovering in a hospital bed with the newborn baby lying on her chest, snuggled up in a yellow towel.
Adebisi then shared a photo in which he proudly presented his son to his 28,000 followers. “Our son was born at 12:24,” said the new father. “Like his mother, he is a delicate creature and has managed to weigh just under 2.5 kg. Just as his father is only 1.80 m tall, our son also just missed the 50 cm mark… We love this little package even more…”
Induction of labor had to be postponed
According to Adebisi’s Instagram story, the contractions apparently started yesterday evening, but in an update on Wednesday morning, the child was not yet born. The couple had originally scheduled an induction appointment for Monday (July 15). However, this had to be postponed by a day because there were no free beds in the clinic.
The birth of their first child together is the highlight of an exciting year for Mola Adebisi and Adelina Zilai: On Christmas 2023, the couple announced their engagement on the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and in mid-January they announced with an ultrasound image that they were expecting a child. In February, they tied the knot in Las Vegas. A few weeks later, they announced that their child would be a boy. The couple has not yet revealed the little one’s name. It is the first child for both of them.
The former Viva presenter and Adelina Zilai, who is 14 years younger, have been a couple since 2020, and in 2021 they took part in the “Sommerhaus der Stars”.
