The singer plans to release a solo album in the fall – almost a year after his separation from actress Sophie Turner, it will be about hope and love.
One year after his separation from British actress Sophie Turner, US singer Joe Jonas plans to release a solo album about the hope of love in the fall. The album, entitled “Music For People Who Believe In Love,” is set to be released on October 18, as the 34-year-old announced on Instagram.
The “Sucker” singer and “Game of Thrones” actress Turner (28) announced their separation last September after four years of marriage and then had a weeks-long custody battle over their two daughters. His new album deals with his “experiences as a father, as a friend to himself and as a friend to others,” Jonas said.
The album is “a celebration of gratitude, hope and love,” it continued. “These songs reflect my life from a bird’s eye view and acknowledge the many blessings around me.” The first single from the album, “Work It Out,” is due to be released on July 19. Jonas became famous as part of the band “Jonas Brothers,” which he founded with his brothers Nick and Kevin.
