The professional football player also accompanies the singer at her concerts in Europe, and even performed with her on stage in London as a dancer wearing a hat and tails. Fan photos and videos on social media show the athlete standing in the VIP box in a polo shirt and cap, filming Taylor Swift’s performance with his cell phone or singing along to her songs with a grin. The fans were especially happy that Kelce waved to Swift from afar. But while he celebrated extensively in other cities, dancing and drinking tequila with celebrities such as Julia Roberts or Hugh Grant, he was the only guest at the first German concert of the “Eras”-Tour is quieter and more relaxed. One reason could be that the joint European jet-set is coming to an end soon. Because work is calling.
From Sunday, Kelce is expected to return to training with the Kansas City Chiefs to prepare for the NFL. In Gelsenkirchen, Swifties were able to watch Travis Kelce wait for Taylor Swift backstage after the concert and disappear arm in arm with her. Just like she sometimes does in her song “karma” sings: “Karma is the guy on the chiefs coming straight home to me.”
