Pink celebrates Carey Hart’s birthday with a personal Instagram post. She admires her husband’s strength and unconditional love.
Singer Pink (44) has published an emotional birthday post on the occasion of her husband Carey Hart’s (49) birthday. On Wednesday (July 17), she raved about her “gorgeous, patient, loving” husband. She is “so damn proud” of the former motocross rider.
“We are lucky to have you in our lives”
The musician admired Hart’s willpower in the post. “No matter how many times life knocks you down, breaks you, or just tries to break you, you get back up, pick yourself up, and get better,” she wrote, adding: “You have healed your traumas, on your own.” Pink is probably referring to Hart’s repeated health problems, motocross accidents, and the loss of his brother Anthony, who died during a motocross competition in 2008.
The singer also expressed her gratitude for her partner. “We are lucky to have you in our lives,” she said. She said how her husband does everything for her and willingly puts his needs aside when necessary. “You’ll go to the ends of the earth for this crazy family, no matter where or when,” she said, thanking Hart for his unconditional love.
Relationship with ups and downs
Along with her loving message, Pink shared some pictures from their time together. The photos show the couple on a boat, at a wine tasting and with their children Willow Sage (13) and Jameson Moon (7). Other pictures show Hart in a hospital bed and playing baseball with his son.
Pink and Hart are said to have met at the extreme sports event “Summer X Games” in August 2001. They reportedly split up in 2003 before getting back together a year later. They married three years later. The couple announced their separation in 2008, but reconciled the following year. Their daughter Willow was born in June 2011. Their son Jameson was born five years later.
