Less than a week before the release of one of the most anticipated films of the year, they released the trailer end of ”Deadpool & Wolverine”where they showed one of the cameos that had been rumored for a long time, in addition to another character expected by fans of Marvel.
The trailer begins with Wade Wilson – or Deadpool – played by Ryan Reynoldsspeaking to Wolverine about Hugh Jackman: ”In my world, everyone adored you. You were a X Men. Bitch, you were him X Men. Wolverine. He was a hero in my world”. The film marks the return of the Australian and British actor to the character, after what was the premiere of ”Logan”in 2017.
Making it clear that the film belongs to the Marvel multiverse saga, Deadpool turns to him so he can help him save his loved ones, but in this world, he is no hero.“Yeah, well, he’s an idiot in mine,” Jackman’s character laments.
From that moment on, something that was a very strong rumor on social media was revealed. Daphne Keen reprising her role as X-23, after her appearance in Logan, where she quickly won critical and audience acclaim. However, many doubted her presence since Jackman himself had announced that the dramatic 2017 version would not be touched, and the version of Wolverine she plays is a variant.
The other revelation that was an open secret was that Lady Deadpoolleading a horde of what appear to be variants of the red and black suited ‘hero’ out of a portal, with two big names leading the bets on who might be behind the suit: Blake Lively -Reynolds’ wife- or Taylor Swift.
”Deadpool & Wolverine” hits theaters in Argentina next Thursday, July 25, although many theaters will offer preview screenings on Wednesday, July 24.
The actress had done an ‘Andrew Garfield’
Keen was part of the series ”The Acolyte”and during her promotion to the press, she was asked about a possible appearance in the Marvel film, reprising her character: ”Of course it’s sad. I love Hugh and creatively, I love Ryan [Reynolds] already Shawn [Levy]… It would be amazing to be a part of this, but I’ll just watch it as a fan.”
Finally, with the release of the trailer, the 19-year-old actress born in Madrid, gave an interview with Entertainment Weeklywhere he compared his statements with what Andrew Garfield did in 2021. The British actor repeatedly denied that he was going to be part of ”Spider-Man: No Way Home” alongside Tobey Maguire – something that ended up happening – even though there were more than clear leaks about it. ”It was a lot of fun lying. He is a master at this.”he assured.
He also gave details about his return: ”Check Logan before filming my scenes for Deadpool & WolverineAnd when they said ‘Action!,’ I really felt like we were back filming. Logan. It seemed like eight years hadn’t passed.” She added that when she found out, she was very excited: ”I immediately screamed. I dropped my phone in the bathtub. I had to put it in rice; it was a big deal.”

Through its website, Marvel Studios shared the official synopsis of the film Deadpool & Wolverinewhich attracted a lot of attention due to its content.
