The dressage rider and wife of Thomas Müller is confronted with abusive comments on Instagram. No one should be bullied because of their appearance, she writes.
Lisa Müller has reacted to derogatory remarks about her body on Instagram. “The comments are slowly getting out of hand,” wrote the 34-year-old. She had previously posted a photo of herself in a bikini. Some users then criticized her appearance as being too thin.
Müller, who works as a dressage rider and is married to FC Bayern Munich player Thomas Müller, had written under the bikini photo: “Recover from stressful times”, meaning that she needs to recover from stressful times.
Now the woman from Munich wrote: “I don’t really care if someone writes that they don’t like what they see, even if I’m quite surprised that people generally think they can add their negative two cents to everything, but it doesn’t have to be offensive.”
“I like to do sports, ride a lot of horses every day, run 15 km three times a week because my personal goal is the half marathon in September.” Müller added: “Everyone should feel comfortable in their body and not experience bullying because of their appearance.”
