Musician Lena Meyer-Landrut has cancelled another performance due to illness. She was supposed to be on stage this evening at the Ansbach Open Festival in Middle Franconia. “Due to a medical emergency, Lena is unfortunately unable to perform with us in Ansbach this evening,” the festival organizers announced on their website. Singer Leony will play an extended solo show instead.

After the cancellation of several concerts, Meyer-Landrut (33) wrote on Instagram at the beginning of July: “Slowly getting back on my feet. – A few days of rest and relaxation were necessary.” She thanked everyone for their well-wishes. Meyer-Landrut is currently on tour with her new album “Loyal to myself”.
The organizers of the Ansbach Open festival wrote: “We will be in touch in the coming days regarding a possible partial refund and ask for your understanding and patience. Now we wish Lena a speedy recovery and Leony and you a great show at the end of the Ansbach Open.” The organizers’ post was shared on the singer’s Instagram account. “We hope you understand. It breaks Lena’s heart that she can’t play,” they said.
