Chris Brown: 50 million dollar lawsuit against the musician

After a Chris Brown show, there was allegedly a “brutal attack”. The musician was subsequently sued for 50 million dollars.

Chris Brown (35) and several members of his team have apparently been sued for millions of dollars over an alleged outbreak of violence that took place after Brown’s concert as part of his “11:11 Tour” in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday evening (July 19).

According to media reports, the lawsuit filed on Monday (July 22) in Harris County District Court, which was also quoted by TMZ, alleges that Chris Brown, along with other members of his crew, “brutally and severely beat” four men backstage. The men allegedly had an invitation to the backstage area.

Kicks and punches?

“The violence consisted of Chris Brown and his entourage surrounding the plaintiffs, throwing chairs at them, and repeatedly kicking and punching them,” the lawsuit states, according to reports. “The unprovoked violence included multiple strikes to the plaintiffs’ head and chest.” The lawsuit also states: “The brutal, violent attack in which Brown participated and directed severely injured all of the plaintiffs.”

All four men allegedly had to see a doctor after the attack, and one of them was admitted to a hospital and had to receive “extensive medical treatment” for head injuries, among other things, according to the lawsuit. As “Billboard” further reports, the plaintiffs are demanding damages “in excess of $50 million.”

The lawsuit also apparently mentions Chris Brown’s well-known run-ins with the law, including the musician’s guilty plea to hitting his then-girlfriend Rihanna (36) in 2009. At the time, he was sentenced to five years’ probation and community service. He also had to participate in an anger management program.
