Jungle camp veteran Winfried Glatzeder has not become a new person in the RTL jungle camp. Instead, he says he has discovered terrible facets of himself. Nevertheless, he will soon be competing again.
Actor Winfried Glatzeder (“The Legend of Paul and Paula”) looks back on his adventures in the RTL jungle camp with a certain disillusionment. “I had planned to make it a mixture of fasting and the Way of St. James for myself. Unfortunately, the pounds I lost have come back,” said the 79-year-old in an interview with “Superillu”.
Here we go again – with Daniela Büchner and Sarah Knappik
Galtzeder took part in the eighth season of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” in 2014. “And I didn’t find myself, instead I discovered other terrible facets of myself.”
To mark the show’s 20th anniversary, the actor will appear in a summer special starting August 16 with a dozen other former jungle stars – including Daniela Büchner and Sarah Knappik. There will also be new rules, as RTL announced. There is prize money of 100,000 euros.
