At km 857 of National Route No. 22 is the city of Colorado River registered under the name Buena Parada, at the end of the 19th century.
In 1915, a major flood destroyed most of the existing buildings in Buena Parada, causing the authorities and institutions to move to the land adjacent to the railway station, where it is located today.

How to get to Rio Colorado, Rio Negro

This route will take you through fields and small towns, offering you an authentic experience in the province of Buenos Aires. From Bahía Blanca, continue your way along National Route 22, a road that will take you to Río Colorado.
