The two former jungle campers Marc Terenzi and Verena Kerth have announced their separation. As Terenzi (46) told the broadcaster RTL and Kerth (43) announced on Instagram, the two have not been a couple for a long time. “Sometimes it’s just better to leave and split up,” said Terenzi in an RTL interview. There had been rumors of a separation months ago.
“I had to find myself again, because I haven’t been myself for two years,” the singer explained. Now he has great projects ahead of him and is looking forward again. Radio presenter Kerth also wrote on Instagram that she was “just happy” to “have my own life back.” “The past two years have been a crazy rollercoaster ride that has taken a lot out of me psychologically,” Kerth told her fans.
Terenzi was married to pop singer Sarah Connor from 2004 to 2010. The former “RTL jungle king” and Kerth got together in 2022. In January last year, Terenzi proposed to the presenter, who had herself taken part in “I’m a star – get me out of here!” that year, on the RTL show.
