5 practical facial yoga exercises
1. Stretch
To relax the muscles in your face, move your jaw and eyebrows slightly to loosen them. Gently close your eyes, pull them up without opening them, and count to four. Then, slowly move your gaze downwards and repeat the process. Do this three times. Afterwards, repeat the exercise, looking to the left and right, and then from top to left to bottom to right, and vice versa.
2. Strengthen
Blink quickly ten times, then sit with your eyes closed and slowly count to five. Repeat this action five times. Finish by resting for a few moments and noticing the sensations that arise.
3. Focus
Sit up straight with your arms outstretched in front of you, hands in a thumbs-up position. Look at your thumb, count to four, then slowly move your thumb toward your nose until you lose focus. Hold this position for a count of four, then extend your arm again. Repeat this exercise five times.

5. Face wide awake
Place your palms on the sides of your face, with your ring fingers at the ends of your eyebrows. Apply gentle pressure backward and upward to stretch the skin on your face. Open your mouth as if saying “O” and “A,” keeping your tongue and jaw relaxed. Breathe in a relaxed manner for 10 seconds, repeating 3 to 6 times.
