Pedro Almodóvar’s “The Room Next Door” will be the central film of the New York Film Festival

“I am thrilled that ‘The Next Room’ will be the centerpiece of the New York Film Festival,” Almodóvar said in a statement. “This festival has been my bridge to New York audiences for decades, so it seemed natural to me that the two leads would go to see a film at Alice Tully Hall in one of the scenes of the film. It was very emotional for me to shoot in a place that holds such dear memories for me, and where I hope to continue to cherish them in the not-too-distant future.”
