Sarah Hyland (33) apparently had to watch helplessly as her house was broken into. Two masked burglars are said to have gained access to the “Modern Family” actress’ house last Saturday (July 27), citing law enforcement sources.
Security system alerted them
The burglars are said to have broken a window and entered the Los Angeles property at sunset. Hyland was not home at the time, but witnessed the situation live on her security cameras. When her home security system notified her, the “Love Island USA” presenter saw the two men leaving the house through the front door.
After the incident, the police conducted a search to ensure that no one was left in the building. The burglars have reportedly not been caught yet. It is also unclear whether and what items the intruders stole. However, according to the anonymous source, Hyland will have to check her inventory as soon as she returns.

The actress is apparently currently spending most of her time in New York because of her leading role in the play “Little Shop of Horrors”. In the musical, which is being performed at the Westside Theater, she plays the female protagonist Audrey. Alongside her, “No Hard Feelings” actor Andrew Barth Feldman (22) is involved in the production as the main character Seymour.
“Little Shop of Horrors” is about the flower sellers Audrey and Seymour. In the course of the story, the orphan Seymour buys a carnivorous plant from a Chinese merchant, which he names Audrey II and feeds with blood.
