To do this, the director was able to find in film a successful correlation to the freedom of expression characteristic of blogs, mainly in the voice of the protagonist, Daniela, as well as in the use of graphic elements and the change of colors that identify the diary that the character keeps on the Internet. The design won her an award for the credits at the SXSW Festival in Austin, United States.

What is Young & Wild, Netflix movie about?
Daniela is a 17 year old girl raised in the bosom of a conservative evangelical family, in Chile. Torn between Christian guilt and her innate rebellion, she experiences a traumatic night of excess that will bring her the punishment of her parents and her own existential questioning. In this forced step into adulthood, Daniela will try to redeem herself from her torrid teenage past, finding, however, a new obstacle: the emergence of his first homosexual love.
But the story does not get lost in the exploitation of sex, which would be so interesting when it features an actress of the beauty of Alicia Luz Rodríguez, whose face completely fills the screen in several shots. What interests the director is how sexuality and feelings come together for the teenager, as well as the confrontation she has with the repressive environment in which she develops.
