Visit to Olympia: Daniel Craig presents new long hair look

Goodbye James Bond look: Daniel Craig has changed his look dramatically. The actor now has longer hair and a grey beard.

Like many other stars, British actor Daniel Craig (56) visited the Olympic Games in Paris. The celebrity guest showed off his new look, which he is said to have acquired for a film role.

As 007 agent James Bond, whom he played from 2006 to 2021, Craig was always seen on the big screen with short hair and a clean shave. In recent months, however, his look has changed. The latest pictures from Paris show the film star with longer hair styled to the side. The 56-year-old also has a gray stubble beard. Craig, who attended the Olympic Games as a brand ambassador and also watched show jumping and skateboarding competitions, is said to have completely changed his appearance because of a role.

Old role, new look

Filming of “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” has begun, as the streaming service Netflix and director Rian Johnson (50) announced via Instagram and X in June. In the upcoming third part of the “Knives Out” film series, Craig will return in his legendary “Knives Out” role of private detective Benoit Blanc – but with a completely new look. The long hair and three-day beard were already seen in the film. But the black and white photo also showed that the detective remains true to his elegant style of clothing. In the picture, Daniel Craig is wearing a suit with a vest and tie and is holding a hat in his hand.

In addition to Craig, Josh O’Connor (34), Glenn Close (77), Josh Brolin (56), Mila Kunis (40) and Jeremy Renner (53) can be seen in “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery”. As with the first two films, Rian Johnson is responsible for the direction and screenplay.

Further details about “Knives Out 3” are not yet known. A Netflix launch is expected for 2025. The first part, “Knives Out: Murder is a Family Affair,” was released in 2019 and the second part, “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” in 2022.
