After his son Pax’s traffic accident, Brad Pitt receives regular updates on his recovery – despite the strained relationship.
Pax Jolie-Pitt (20), the son of Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie (49) and Brad Pitt (60), had a serious accident with his BMX e-bike at the end of last month. The 20-year-old was then taken to hospital and even had to spend several days in intensive care. Although his relationship with his adopted son has been strained for years, superstar Pitt is said to receive regular “updates” on Pax’s recovery. This was revealed by .
Brad Pitt’s broken relationship with his children
“He hasn’t had any contact with Pax in years, but he still cares about him very much,” the source said of the 60-year-old acting star. Pax was admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles on July 29. He is said to have been riding on a busy street in his hometown without a helmet. He apparently rammed the back of a car at a red light, and suffered a head injury and hip pain.
“He suffered complex trauma and is now beginning the long road of recovery and physical therapy,” another source told People magazine. A third added: “However, he was very lucky. It could have been much worse as he was not wearing a helmet.”
In addition to Pax, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have five other children together: son Maddox (23), daughters Zahara (19) and Shiloh (18), and twins Knox and Vivienne (16). Pitt is said to have almost no contact with his adult children. He is apparently able to see his younger children due to an agreement with Jolie. The divorce of the former dream couple is still pending – almost eight years after Jolie filed for divorce in 2016.
