At her Munich concert on Friday, Adele apparently revealed her engagement. At least that was the impression she gave on stage.
Music star Adele (36) played her third of a total of ten concerts in Munich on Friday evening (August 9). On the stage of her pop-up stadium on the grounds of the Munich Trade Fair, the singer apparently also confirmed her engagement to sports agent Rich Paul (42). During her performance, the 16-time Grammy winner appeared to read out a sign from a fan on which the question was written: “Will you marry me?” Adele then declared: “I can’t marry you because I’m getting married myself.”
Adele apparently confirms engagement rumors
In the latter sentence, she held up her left hand to indicate a ring on her finger. The unofficial announcement of her engagement came after rumors had already circulated a few weeks ago. Adele’s partner Rich Paul is said to have asked the singer for her hand in marriage. She is said to have immediately replied “yes.”
Singer dreams of a daughter
Adele and Rich Paul first appeared together in public in July 2021. In September of the same year, the singer appeared with her partner on Instagram for the first time. “I’ve never been so in love. I’m obsessed with him,” she then revealed, explaining in the same breath that she “definitely wants more children. I’m a stay-at-home mom and I’m a matriarch, and having a stable life helps me with my music.”
She already has a son, Angelo Adkins, from a previous marriage with Simon Konecki (50). She was married to Konecki from 2018 to 2021, but the marriage failed in 2019. “As soon as I’m done with all my commitments and all my shows, I want to have a baby,” she continued. “I want a girl because I already have a boy.”
