Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom: Hand in hand from the helicopter

Katy Perry (39) and Orlando Bloom (47) have dared to jump. The celebrity couple jumped from a helicopter into the sea during their vacation in Sardinia. The singer posted a video of the action.

Orlando Bloom filmed part of the clip. The actor held a camera in his left hand during the jump. With his right hand he held his fiancée’s hand. They counted to three, then headed towards the water. In mid-air, the couple lost contact with their hands.

Katy Perry’s jumping behavior still seems a little uncertain. She spreads her legs in flight and crouches down, as a still image on Instagram shows. Orlando Bloom, on the other hand, dives in elegantly and straight. No wonder, the “Lord of the Rings” actor is used to extreme activities. In his new documentary series “To the Edge,” the Brit tries his hand at skydiving, mountain climbing and freediving.

Katy Perry’s career as a singer also seems to be in free fall. Her last two singles “Woman’s World” and “Lifetimes” flopped on the streaming service Spotify. Her hopes now rest on her new album “143”, which is due to be released on September 20th.

Vacation with billionaire

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are not alone in Sardinia. They are guests on the 500 million dollar yacht of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos (60). Leonardo DiCaprio (49) and his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti (26) are also said to have stopped by on the yacht. Bezos’ fiancée, the presenter Lauren Sánchez (54), is said to have flown the helicopter from which Bloom and Perry jumped. Perry and Bloom already vacationed with the Amazon billionaire on his boat last year.
