With an old recording from the backstage area, “Gefragt – Gejagt” brought Klaus Otto Nagorsnik back to life for a short time.
Klaus Otto Nagorsnik (1955-2024) lives on in the hearts of the “Gefragt – Gejagt” team and the fans. On August 13, the quiz show shared a short video from 2015 in which the deceased hunter can be seen with a candidate in the backstage area. “And then you find a very special clip on the camera at ‘Gefragt – Gejagt’ because that’s how you remember the candidate. Greetings to the top, dear KO,” it says.
In the clip, Nagorsnik, who was also called “The Librarian” or “KO” for short because of his profession, is asked from off-screen whether wisdom comes with age. In his typical casual manner, he answers “serenity” before continuing to joke with the cameraman and smiling into the lens.
Mourning for Nagorsnik remains great
Klaus Otto Nagorsnik had appeared as a hunter on the show for ten years until his death was unexpectedly announced in April 2024. “With Klaus Otto Nagorsnik, we are losing a role model of authenticity, education and joie de vivre. I admired him and really enjoyed playing and joking with him,” said show host Alexander Bommes (49) afterwards, mourning the 68-year-old.
Even four months later, the mourning for the star quizzer is still unabated, as the comments under the Instagram post show. “It’s still so unbelievable that he died,” “You will be sorely missed, KO” and “So nice to see him again in this clip,” were just some of the affected messages. The daughter of the candidate from the video also commented on the post: “Meeting KO was definitely the highlight for my dad.”
