According to consistent media reports, the American rapper and producer BeatKing has died at the age of just 39. The musician’s manager has now officially confirmed his death. In a published statement, it is stated that the artist died on Thursday, August 15th. Justin Riley, the rapper’s real name, suffered a pulmonary embolism. He fainted before an appearance on a local radio show and was immediately taken to a hospital in Houston. He subsequently died there.
BeatKing gained international fame thanks to TikTok
BeatKing has been a well-known face in his home state of Texas for many years and has performed primarily at college parties and in clubs. In 2020, he landed a TikTok hit with his song “Then Leave”, which brought him international attention. He then recorded a song with rap legend Ludacris (46), among others, and was often seen alongside rap superstar Drake (37). However, it is not yet known whether the two had a joint project in mind. Justin Riley leaves behind two daughters.
