Hollywood star Kevin Costner says that spending time with his children helps him balance out his intense working hours. When asked how he finds peace in his hectic everyday life, the 69-year-old told the German Press Agency: “I have friends and I have children who go to school and do sports, and I make sure that I can accompany them there. I drive them to school in the morning.”
Costner has seven children. From his marriage to Cindy Costner, which lasted from 1978 to 1994, he has three children: Annie, Lily and Joe. His son Liam was born in 1994. From his now divorced marriage to Christine Baumgartner, he has three children: Cayden Wyatt, Hayes Logan and Grace Avery.
“I want my children to succeed”
“People have a different idea of my life, but it’s very similar to theirs,” Costner said. “I want my kids to succeed, and I’ve been with them as they’ve become successful in their lives.”
Costner’s new western “Horizon” has just been released in cinemas. His son Hayes Logan, born in 2009, has a small role in it.
