The actor Horst Janson is in hospital after falling down the stairs. His agency in Berlin confirmed this on Monday. The “Bild” newspaper had previously reported on the 88-year-old’s accident. The agency did not comment on the details of his injury.
Horst Janson is known from “Sesame Street”
Janson became known to a wider audience in the 1970s through TV series such as “Salto Mortale” and “Der Bastian”. In the 1980s he played in “Sesame Street”.
Due to illness, Janson had to cancel his participation in the Bad Hersfeld Festival. He was supposed to appear there in June at the premiere of the play “As in Heaven”.
