Vincent Gross is on cloud nine. His fans don’t hold his new love against him. “They welcomed Sara with open arms.”
Pop star Vincent Gross (27) is currently on a roll of success. With his new hit “Aperol Spritz” he is racing from one performance to the next. And things are going well for the Swiss man in his private life too. A few weeks ago he made his love for 21-year-old Sara official. “I am actually completely happy at the moment. I am currently working very intensively on new projects and that makes my motivation twice as strong,” he enthuses in an interview with the news agency spot on news.
“It’s a relief”
His female fans don’t seem to mind that the heartthrob is off the market. “They welcomed Sara with open arms and it seems that they are happy for me too,” says the 27-year-old happily. It feels good that he can now be open about his love. “It’s definitely a relief.”
However, the two of them don’t have much time for each other. “But with a bit of determination, you can always find opportunities,” Gross continues. “That makes it all the nicer when Sara can accompany me now and then. She’s still studying and is often very involved.” The couple isn’t putting any pressure on themselves when it comes to future plans. “We’re very relaxed and are just letting things happen.”
“On stage with the great Giovanni Zarrella”
The Swiss musician has a number of dates in his calendar over the next few weeks. A special highlight is “The Giovanni Zarrella Show” on August 24 (8:15 p.m., ZDF), where Gross will appear alongside stars such as Andrea Berg, Roland Kaiser and Marianne Rosenberg. He is looking forward to the “audience – like at every performance” even more than to his colleagues.
For him, TV has “its own magic. On the one hand, there’s the fear that the TV viewers at home will go and get a beer right during my performance. On the other hand, there’s the tension of whether I’ll be able to captivate the audience. I’m always incredibly nervous and hope that my song is so infectious that everyone really goes wild and gets carried away by the positive energy.” He can hardly wait “to be on stage with the great Giovanni Zarrella,” says the 27-year-old excitedly.
Vincent Gross dreams of his own show
In addition to his successful music career, the singer is pursuing another dream. “My own show. Whether it’s Saturday night or streamed, it doesn’t matter to me. It should be special – I already have my ideas and concepts.” Gross has already hosted “The Big Music Quiz” on “Immer wieder sonntags” on the first channel.
The 27-year-old has also appeared on reality TV. In 2023, he won the RTL crime show “The Traitors – Trust No One!”. Gross is also open to other formats. “Adventure, sport, culinary arts, skill, stunts, talks, psychology or strategy are all possible – I have a wide range of interests and I love challenges. I’m currently training for a project – but I can’t reveal any more about it yet.”
