At the RTL summer camp, Thorsten Legat turns out to be a womanizer. Or did he misunderstand something? Meanwhile, Winfried Glatzeder talks about his first sex. For real? In a broom closet?
Hanka Rackwitz has voluntarily left RTL’s summer jungle camp. “I want to pull the ripcord at the right place,” said the reality star (“rent, buy, live”), visibly worn out, in the episode of “I’m a Star – Showdown of the Jungle Legends” on RTL+, which was released on Wednesday.
“Sure, I could carry on. But I would have to pay too much for it.” Rackwitz had previously clashed with models Elena Miras and Sarah Knappik, among others. Finally, she uttered the words “I’m a celebrity – get me out of here!”, which meant departure.
“I’m not a woman, but I have a woman at home”
In general, the mood on the seventh day in the South African jungle has become a lot rougher. Kader Loth summed it up: “We are fighting on four or five fronts at the same time: lack of sleep, little food, the exams. And then the fight among ourselves. And that is the worst.” A large number of the campers have now set their sights on actress Giulia Siegel. The most recent trigger was a debate between Siegel and Loth about what the scarce toilet paper in the jungle toilets can be used for.
The conversation quickly became heated. Loth used some toilet paper to discreetly dispose of very private hygiene products. In 40 years of RTL, the pros and cons of sanitary pads have certainly never been discussed for so long as at the start of this episode. Former footballer Thorsten Legat began his contribution with the big words: “I’m not a woman, but I have a woman at home,” and then had to have a lot of things explained to him. The role of the true woman’s understander was ultimately filled by reality star Gigi Birofio: “I don’t have a vagina, but you have every right to use as much toilet paper as you want.”
“I would turn off my TV”
Birofio celebrated his 25th birthday in the camp – and was a little disappointed. He only received the usual number of cigarettes and not the jungle sex he had wanted. Nevertheless, he was very successful in a jungle car race, the rules of which are too complicated to explain here. He won eight out of eleven possible stars with Legat and Loth. Birofio put this down to his “intelligence”.
Meanwhile, dark clouds were gathering over Giulia Siegel. There were quiet rumours in the camp that she had been nominated for expulsion. The actress put on a brave face most of the time and smiled gently at the constant barrage of criticism around her. Only occasionally did she cry.
Siegel said she had rarely had such a bad time in a show as she did here. She would not allow herself to be bullied away. Her recommendation to the audience in the face of so much hostility in the camp was reminiscent of the former TV educator Peter Lustig: “I would turn off my TV at that point.”
“Broom closet encounter” with 20
At least Siegel managed to get the most interesting statements of the day out of actor Winfried Glatzeder in the whole camp. What was his first time like? The actor said dryly: “It was a broom closet encounter. That’s how my first son was born.” Siegel said in disbelief: “You fathered a child the first time?” Glatzeder said melancholically: “And I didn’t want to.” He was 20 years old when he was there. And he added, somewhat taken aback: “I’ve never been asked that before. You’re the first person to be so impudent.”
