Three years after dog kidnapping: Lady Gaga has a new puppy

It has been more than three years since the dramatic kidnapping of Lady Gaga’s (38) dogs, two French bulldogs. Now the US singer has acquired a new puppy – and it’s another Frenchie.

Gaga shared a video on Wednesday in which she is holding the small French bulldog with grey-white-brown fur in her arms and hugging it. The 38-year-old also played her new song with Bruno Mars (38), “Die With A Smile”, over the clip. The singer did not reveal the name of the little one. She simply captioned the video with a snowflake emoji. In the video, the “Joker: Folie a Deux” actress wore jet black hair and bright red lipstick as well as ice blue eye shadow and dark eyeliner.

The singer’s fans are excited about the new addition to the family and already have name suggestions: One TikTok user suggested the name “Bruno,” while another suggested “Lady Mars.” Influencer Dylan Mulvaney wrote: “I absolutely have to meet her immediately,” to which Lady Gaga replied: “Our new queen.”

Dramatic kidnapping three years ago

Lady Gaga already has at least three French bulldogs – a black one named Asia is already ten years old, the beige Koji was born in 2015 and Gustav was born in 2016.

The latter two four-legged friends were kidnapped in February 2021 after Gaga’s dog sitter was attacked and shot while the actress was in Rome for a film shoot. The two dogs were only released days later. One of the kidnappers was sentenced to four years in prison in 2022. It later emerged that the alleged finder of the dogs, to whom Gaga was supposed to pay a reward, was in fact involved in the kidnapping herself.
