The main objective of the conclave is to stimulate cooperation at the regional level in order to build more integrated and effective local economic policies.
Under the theme “Territorial alliances and challenges in the economic model of local development in Latin America and the Caribbean”The meeting will address issues such as local development, the environment, global agendas, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), the world of work, human mobility, gender equality, innovation, knowledge production, alliances and cooperation.
Kicillof will speak at the closing panel discussion “New Challenges of the Local Economic Development Model”, which will take place on Wednesday, August 28, between 4:30 and 6 p.m.
