The visual artist Vivi Berthet will participate in the 12th edition of the mega contemporary art fairwhich can be visited between August 29 and September 1 at the Green Pavilion of La Rural de Palermo.
On this occasion, Berthet, a specialist in the use of asphalt paint applied to abstract art, will be at booth 79 with a series of syntheses, in small format, and medium-sized works at affordable prices, as is the spirit of BADA, a space that seeks to democratize art and, why not? introduce visitors to the world of collecting. Thus, Berthet will exhibit works valued from $80,000 and up, as well as larger-scale pieces for those who prefer this type of format.
“Each brushstroke inhabits the subtlety of the forms, and is made material with the devastating power of asphalt paint. Communion of color and matter; transparency and strength… In each work, all the darkness and all the light,” says Berthet, about his unique art.
In this new edition, BADA will once again offer a unique experience to visitors, connecting them directly with the artists, in a relaxed setting, and giving them the exclusive opportunity to discover and purchase art without intermediaries.

About Berthet
Self-taught and self-managed, Berthet regularly participates in various solo and collective exhibitions, both nationally and internationally. Every year, the artist performs at fairs in different countries, such as Argentina, Chile, Spain, Mexico and the United States.
Since 2016, Berthet has had a space at BADA Buenos Aires, as well as in its respective editions in Mexico City and Madrid.
The artist, born in the province of Entre Ríos, also organizes exhibitions in her space and in other locations, in which she brings together colleagues with the intention of raising awareness, through art, of different charitable, social and health care causes.
“I dedicate my time to deepening my personal search by exploring the union of geometric shapes and their coexistence with the organic; abstract transparencies lead me to imagine urban spaces and mystical depths. Geometry of pentagons and hexagons that increase and decrease their limits give shape to diffuse thresholds, and invite me to travel through real or illusory microcosms,” he says about the way he approaches each of his works.
Transparencies of colors, fluidity of shapes, and the devastating power of asphalt paint are the hallmark of this visual artist, who has been specializing in this technique for 12 years, which she also shares in her studio, offering intensive workshops. Her Art Laboratory, located at Bacacay 5833, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Versailles, welcomes her students every Tuesday, whom she accompanies in the creative process and in the search for their artistic identity.

In early December, Berthet will also be present at the 14th edition of Spectrum, a contemporary art fair held annually in Miami. In January 2025, he will do the same, along with other renowned artists, at the Masterart Fair in Punta del Este, in a magnificent hotel on Parada 10 de La Brava.
The visual artist has just presented her exhibition “Significant Coincidences” at the UBA Law School, with great success, where more than 100 works by 30 artists who attend her Art Laboratory and also by Berthet herself were exhibited.
