Paramount Pictures released today the trailer for Sonic 3 The Moviethis offers a new look at the confrontation between Sonic (Ben Schwartz) and his new adversary Shadow, voiced by Keanu Reeves.
Shadow, who first appeared in the 2001 video game Sonic Adventure 2, is the creation of Professor Gerald Robotnik, the grandfather of Sonic’s arch-enemy Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey). He possesses extraordinary speed, as well as Chaos Control, a power that allows him to manipulate space and time. He is initially depicted as an antagonist to Sonic, although in the Sega video games on which the film franchise is based, he eventually becomes an ally.
