Georgina Fleur (34) and her ex, businessman Kubilay Özdemir, are no longer in contact; Fleur is raising their three-year-old daughter alone in Dubai. In the Allstars Jungle Camp season (RTL, also ), she recently looked back on the disastrous relationship. Her ex has now shown remorse and expressed a desire to have contact with her daughter.
“Blind with love”
According to Fleur, the first cracks in the relationship appeared on Christmas Eve, as she told her fellow campers. Later, “Kubi” was keen to take part in the “Summer House of the Stars” (2020) to show the whole world that they were together, according to Fleur. However, there were unpleasant arguments in the “Summer House”. Fleur’s explanation for accepting all of this: “I was so blind with love. […] I was addicted to him.”
Their daughter was born in 2021. The fact that her ex had become violent towards Georgina was the signal for her to leave: “Through my daughter, I found the strength to leave him and eliminate him from my life.” A few days earlier, she explained at the camp: “It hurts my heart when I think about how sad it must be to have to explain to her that she simply doesn’t have a daddy.” She also hinted that she would definitely be in favor of contact between father and daughter: “You can send a card or call, just be interested in your own flesh and blood.”
On withdrawal for the children
In an interview with RTL, Kubilay Özdemir stressed: “This is the right opportunity to say: I love all my children, I love my older and also my youngest daughter and my son.” Regarding his daughter with Fleur, he said: “I want to have contact with the child as soon as possible – sooner rather than later.”
According to RTL, the entrepreneur has faced his personal problems and has been a sober alcoholic for two years. “Above all, I changed myself, I worked on myself,” says Özdemir. “I had a lot of therapy sessions and was in a rehab clinic for a month. It wasn’t easy, I gave it my all. First and foremost, I did it for my children.” He explains about his failures in his relationship with Fleur: “I apologize for everything. May I be forgiven.” However, he no longer sits down with his ex. “It’s not a grudge. It’s self-protection for the good of the child.”
