On August 31, 2023, Amira and Oliver Pocher made their separation official. A year later, there is still no peace.
When Amira (31) and Oliver Pocher (46) announced their separation at the end of August 2023 after seven years of relationship, the 31-year-old still hoped that the two would remain a team in their private and professional lives in the future. As is well known, the mother of two’s wish has not come true. On the contrary: The Pochers, who used to like to rant about other celebrities and influencers together, suddenly dominated the headlines with their own quarrels – and despite the divorce, there is still no end in sight.
“The Pochers have become better than any reality show,” said Oliver Pocher’s first ex-wife Alessandra Meyer-Wölden (41) at the beginning of the year in the Podimo podcast “The Pochers! Freshly recycled”. At first, the comedian was primarily to blame for this: He processed the separation in his new stage show “Der Liebeskasper” and also used Instagram and TV interviews to attack Amira. While she kept a low profile for a long time, he fueled the public mudslinging almost daily. For example, he first accused her of an affair with motivational coach Biyon Kattilathu (40), later he lashed out at her new partner, presenter Christian Düren (34).
They were a couple for seven years
Just a few weeks after the official separation, Oliver Pocher made it clear with a bang that there could no longer be any talk of a team: He abruptly ended the joint podcast and replaced Amira with Alessandra. He was married to the 41-year-old from 2010 to 2014, and the two have three children together. He met Amira Aly in 2016 via the dating platform Tinder. For a long time, he kept his partner out of the spotlight. In autumn 2019, they tied the knot in the Maldives. Their sons were born in 2019 and 2020. At the same time as starting a family, Amira made a name for herself in public alongside her husband.
Even if the trained make-up artist from Austria has not been nearly as taunting as her ex in recent months, the 31-year-old is no longer holding back when it comes to the separation. In the podcast with her brother Hima, the topic is regularly brought up on the microphone. She no longer wants to put up with the constant hostility of her ex-partner. And so the Pochers are still firing each other up even after their divorce hearing at the end of July. First they quarreled about the last name, most recently it was about finances. “It cost enough to drop the name,” he commented in his Instagram story on the headline that she was performing under her birth name Aly again. When she won “Schlag den Star” on August 24th and won 100,000 euros, he quipped: “Well, now a few bills can be paid.”
Now they blame themselves financially
She would keep the bonus, Amira Aly emphasized a short time later to the “Bild” newspaper – and then fired more vehemently than ever at her ex: “As I am currently building a house in Cologne for myself and my two sons and my ex-husband Olli Pocher, contrary to his public claims, is not paying anything for the children, I will keep the 100,000 euros.” According to him, he has not paid child support for a year. In addition, the children are mostly with her – “even if Olli presents it differently.” He immediately countered: “Maths have never been her strong point… Neither when you stopped being together to ‘date’ other guys, how long you had the children, nor how much money you earned during the relationship, interest calculations for a new house, etc.” So the Pocher soap opera continues – and there is enough material for the next podcast episodes.
Things are going even better with his first ex-wife
When two people argue, the third is happy. In this case, that is Alessandra Meyer-Wölden. Oliver Pocher’s first ex-wife has returned to the public eye after a love crisis. In recent years, she has concentrated mainly on her family life in Miami. The Pocher podcast gave her a new start in her career. The patchwork constellation also benefits: the once quarreling ex-couple are getting on brilliantly again. The 41-year-old even decided to move back to Germany with their children. However, there is no love comeback as fans had expected: Meyer-Wölden has found new love in an old acquaintance of Oliver Pocher.
Nevertheless, her career path gives rise to hope that the TV star will one day be able to get back together with his second ex-wife and achieve a better relationship. Even if that might take a few more years.
