Thomas Gottschalk and Karina Mroß have been a couple for a good five years. Now they have married. The entertainer revealed details – and presented numerous photos on Instagram.
A wedding all in white: Thomas Gottschalk and his partner Karina Mroß got married in secret. The wedding was in Ibiza, the entertainer wrote on Instagram. The 74-year-old published several pictures from the wedding directly by the sea: he in white linen trousers and a white linen shirt, she in a floor-length white dress – both barefoot.
“Although I still consider this event to be a very personal experience, I am taking you with me to my wedding with Karina in Ibiza,” wrote Gottschalk. Several media outlets had previously reported on the wedding.
“Karina looked into my heart”
According to “Bild”, the couple tied the knot on August 23. Gottschalk did not provide any details. “You know my showmaster face, but Karina looked into my heart. That’s why we are now a couple forever! Forever!”
The pictures, taken against a picturesque backdrop, showed that the wedding took place in a small circle. The former “Wetten, dass..?” presenter wrote with a view to his fans: “We decided not to have witnesses. You look after us! OK?” According to “Bunte”, the former financial controller has now taken Gottschalk’s name at the age of 62. The two are said to have had an appointment for a civil wedding on August 27th.
A wedding with a view of the sea
As can be seen in the pictures, the three guests were also dressed in white, the ladies protected themselves with white paper parasols. The chairs were decorated with bouquets of white flowers. The wedding took place under an arch decorated with white flowers, with cliffs and the sea in the background, and white petals lying on the lawn. A saxophonist stands next to the guests and plays.
Karina Mroß wore her long blonde hair in waves, partly pinned up. She wore subtle gold jewelry with her white dress with spaghetti straps and a small train: earrings, a thin necklace and bracelets. The wide wedding rings are each decorated with a crown.
In May, Gottschalk divorced his wife of decades, Thea. The two had already separated in 2019. In the summer of this year, his engagement to Mroß was announced. Mroß and Gottschalk have been a couple for five years.
