He also said that “the amounts vary according to seniority and the number of hours worked” and said that “this effort we are making, in a complex national economic context, reflects our clear and constant commitment to our educators.”

The Mendoza administration also highlighted that this is a non-remunerative and non-bonifiable sum, which “will compensate for the difference arising from the modification of the national guaranteed minimum teacher salary. It will be paid during September.”

Cornejo moved forward with the decision after the national government established, through Resolution 689/2024, a new minimum teaching salary for the position of teacher, single-day, without seniority, or its equivalent in teaching hours.
