Joaquin Phoenix spoke about revising his controversial diet for the film’s sequel Joker during a press conference at the Venice Film Festival Wednesday, saying it was “a little bit more difficult” because of the dance component of “Folie à Deux.”

“I’m not going to talk about the details of the diet, but This time it seemed a little more complicated because we had to rehearse the dance a lot.something I hadn’t done last time,” Phoenix said. “So it seemed a little bit more difficult… but it’s safe. But yeah, I’m 49 now, I probably shouldn’t do this again”.
