During the first half of the year, 30 primary schools in the city of Buenos Aires and Greater Buenos Aires were the scene of an educational play entitled “Brigade members in action: taking care of our pets”aimed at children between 4 and 10 years old, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of responsible care of pets.
The work presents the story of “Puppy”a rescued animal that, after being taken to the vet due to a flea and tick problem, receives effective treatment with an antiparasitic that keeps it protected. This episode highlights the importance of regular deworming to maintain the health of animals and the entire family.
Through a combination of humor, juggling and music, the play not only entertains, but also raises awareness among children about how to be responsible with their pets.

The children learn about the need to provide an adequate home, maintain a balanced diet, make regular visits to the veterinarian and, especially, control deworming and vaccinations to prevent diseases.
The performance concludes with the presentation of a diploma of “Animal Care Squadron Brigade Member” for the children present and a series of educational materials to continue learning about responsible pet care from home.
In a context where 80% of Argentine households consider their pets as another member of the family, the relationship between people and their animals has evolved significantly.
Nowadays, there is talk of a more humane approach towards pets, where guardians act responsibly, ensuring their comprehensive well-being. This shift brings with it a new paradigm in care, which must include greater attention to deworming, disease prevention, and general wellness and health care, especially in homes with young children or immunocompromised individuals.
This initiative by the NexGard brand seeks to promote respect for and animal welfare from childhood, aspects that are closely related to the health of present and future generations.
