Holiday this September 9th in El Triunfo, Colonia el Toro and Colonia Sere

The official statement reported that the beneficiaries of the holiday on Monday, September 9 will be the towns of The Triumph (Lincoln), Colonia el Toro (Calos Tejedor) and Colonia Sere (Calos Tejedor) because they all share the same founding date. The first one was inaugurated in 1909, the second in 1912 and the last in 1903.

How many national holidays are left in 2024?

This year there are only left 5 national holidays. These will produce two long weekends in the remainder of 2024. The first of these will be in Octoberwhen the holiday for tourist purposes Friday 11th will be complemented by the Day of Respect for Cultural Diversity. The next one will be in Novemberwhen National Sovereignty Day is moved from the 20th to Monday the 18th.
