The countdown for the boxing match between Stefan Raab and Regina Halmich has begun – and now Michael “Bully” Herbig is also joining in.
Stefan Raab (57) is using another humorous video clip to advertise his third boxing match against ex-professional boxer Regina Halmich (47), which will take place on Saturday, September 14th and will also mark his TV comeback. The cult presenter has already used a number of well-known people for the months-long countdown to the big spectacle, which will be broadcast by RTL. After Elton (53), the “advertising master” Niclas M. and fitness queen Pamela Reif (28), the story will now continue with comedy star Michael “Bully” Herbig (56).

“5 more days…” is the caption of the video that Raab published on Monday morning (9 September). It follows on from a clip three days ago in which Raab was trained in a fat suit by Pamela Reif. “Unfortunately, I can’t do magic either. I think the only thing that can help us in a hurry is the doctor…”, the fitness expert said to Raab. When he asked, aghast, who she meant, Reif just confirmed emphatically: “THE doctor!” Fans then wondered whether she could be referring to jungle camp star Dr. Bob (74) or boxing legend Vitali Klitschko (53).
Now there was the solution that no one had expected. In the new clip, Raab stomps after Reif, who is heading for “Dr. Lamborghini’s” beauty clinic. “Wait, I can’t walk anymore,” complains Raab, who is still wearing a fat suit and thus further fueling speculation about his fitness. “Come on now,” admonishes Reif, who finally drives him to the doctor in a wheelchair. He turns out to be Michael “Bully” Herbig with artificial white teeth. Herbig asks, looking at the man in the wheelchair: “What is that?” – and Reif replies: “That’s Stefan Raab.” Herbig alias Dr. Lamborghini then blurts out: “Oh shit…”, which is how the video ends.
At the beginning of April, the former “TV total” host announced his comeback – and has since posted some more or less mysterious clips. In the first teaser for the boxing match with Halmich, Raab still hid his eyes behind large sunglasses. After his retirement in December 2015, the former ProSieben figurehead consistently did not appear in front of a TV camera again and only gave three live shows in Cologne’s Lanxess Arena in 2018.

RTL has announced a “superlative boxing match spectacle” for September 14th. “The Clark Final Fight” will be broadcast live on TV and on RTL+ from 8:15 p.m. “National top stars will be making their entrance, breathtaking show performances, lots of glamour and celebrities at the boxing ring included,” announced the Cologne-based private broadcaster in its press release. The event in the sold-out Düsseldorf PSD Bank Dome will be moderated by former Raab intern Elton, commentator will be Frank “Buschi” Buschmann (59), Laura Wontorra (35) will report from the boxing ring. Following the boxing match, an “Exclusive Special: The Talk Afterwards” is planned, in which Frauke Ludowig (60) will report live from the hall.
