Shortly after filing for divorce, former rapper couple Cardi B and Offset are holding their second daughter in their arms.
Around six weeks after their official separation, rapper Cardi B (31) and her still-husband Offset (32) welcome their third child together. With the words “The prettiest little thing” and a mother-child photo, the 31-year-old announced the news on September 12th.
The musician posed in a colorful dressing gown in the hospital bed with the newborn in her arms. She also revealed the date of birth: the little girl was born on September 7th. The New York native also posted a series of pictures online showing the two siblings getting to know the baby, her breastfeeding her third child and a photo of dad Offset during their first bonding session.
Shared baby happiness despite divorce
Cardi B separated from the child’s father in July after around seven years of marriage and various relationship breaks. She already has a son, Wave (3), and a daughter, Kulture (6), with the rapper, who was allowed to hold the little addition to the family in one of the photos.
One day after the artist filed for divorce, she wrote: “With every end comes a new beginning! I am so grateful that I shared this time with you, you gave me more love, more life and above all renewed my strength!”, she dedicated a few lines to a photo of her unborn daughter in a red silk dress with a matching fur coat. “You reminded me that I can have it all! You reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love and my passion! I love you so much and can hardly wait for you to experience what you have helped me to do, what you have pushed me to do!”
