Motsi Mabuse will be absent from four shows on the “Let’s Dance” tour in the fall. A well-known face from the RTL dance show will step in for her.
Motsi Mabuse (43) has to give her fans the sad news that she will not be able to attend four shows on this year’s “Let’s Dance” tour. The juror will be absent on November 2nd in Munich, on November 9th in Hamburg, on November 16th in Hanover and on November 23rd in Stuttgart. The reason for her absence and her replacement have also been announced.
Since Mabuse is also a judge in live shows on the British spin-off “Strictly Come Dancing”, there were scheduling conflicts with the German tour, explains RTL. Fans of the dance show (also ) can look forward to a familiar “Let’s Dance” face who will represent Motsi Mabuse in the four shows.

“Welcome, dear Isabel! We are very happy that you will be joining us on some of the dates of our big live tour,” it says on Instagram. Isabel Edvardsson (42) has been confirmed as a replacement. Edvardsson has been a professional in the “Let’s Dance” team since 2006, with interruptions due to maternity leave. In 2010 she also served as a judge. According to the broadcaster, the professional dancer has already represented Mabuse several times during the tour. “I’ll be back soon after a long break!” explains the dancer about her renewed involvement. “We’re going to have so much fun!”
Mabuse has also already commented on her absence: “Unfortunately I can’t be there for the four dates, but I’m really looking forward to the rest of the tour!” she explains under the Instagram post. A huge thank you goes to Edvardsson “for stepping in and helping so much – you’re great! I can’t wait to be on stage with you all again soon. See you very soon!”
