Río Negro digitalized the survey procedures

In this way, from now on Cadastre of the Province “will no longer accept paper submissions; professionals must enter all documentation digitally through the Cadastral Registry System – SIREC.”

“The elimination of paper in land registry management not only speeds up response times and improves operational efficiency, but also represents a positive impact on sustainability,” it was explained.

The Surveyors Marcelo LupianoCadastre Manager, and Claudio IsaacPresident of the CPA, agreed that “A project is guaranteed to succeed when, if there are multiple people responsible for its implementation, it does not matter who gets the credit. The important thing is to achieve a quick, effective and efficient response to meet the community’s requirements.

“By eliminating the need for paper, the use of physical spaces designated for archives in the Provincial State is optimized, and annual expenses of between 50 and 100 million pesos are avoided, in printing and copying plans that the owners of the properties and professionals had to face to make their presentations.

Following the signing of Resolution 99/2024, several articles of Resolution 47/05 that referred to the submission of paper documents and the generation of physical files will be revoked as of September 2. The new regulations establish the forms of digital submission that must be processed through the (SIREC).

The digitalisation of procedures, in addition to reducing the time spent on file management, facilitates access to information, improving the transparency and efficiency of the service. This advance represents a significant milestone in the improvement of internal processes and attention to citizens and professionals.

In short, this digital transformation in Cadastre (in a joint effort with the local CPA) is a firm step towards a more agile and efficient future, aligning with the improvements in public administration promoted by the Provincial Government within the framework of the modernization of the State.

“It is important to note that this implementation was achieved through joint work with surveying professionals and the Professional Surveying Council (CPA). This joint effort included the development of ideas and the use of computer tools such as SIREC and digital signatures, with the aim of implementing a digital processing system for all surveys,” It was stated in the statement.
