“With great sadness We say goodbye to our member and former union leaderactor and director Daniel Fanego. With extensive experience in theater, television and film, he was one of the most beloved and award-winning actors of his generation. We send our most sincere condolences to his family and loved ones, accompanying them in this difficult time,” AAA posted on its social networks.
He also reported that Fanego’s “farewell” will be “this Friday, September 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Buenos Aires Legislature,” located at Avenida Presidente Julio Argentino Roca 575.
According to radio Rivadavia journalist Pablo Montagna, Fanego “He was sick and died at homesurrounded by his loved ones.”

He also criticised the current government, saying that “they are provocateurs and are seeking a climate of violence.”
“I think that on the 24th we all have to be in the streets saying that this is not going to work, that this is not how it should work,” he said in relation to the mobilization on March 24 for the Day of Remembrance.
