Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik celebrate their daughter’s birthday on Instagram. One detail in particular stands out.
The daughter of model Gigi Hadid (29) and singer Zayn Malik (31) celebrated her fourth birthday with sweet congratulations from her family and a special party. Hadid dedicated a birthday card to little Khai on Thursday. “We celebrated all week,” the model wrote.
“She loves animals, music, Baby Yoda, everything in nature and bugs,” Hadid describes her daughter. She also loves spending all day in the water. She is “curious, adventurous, loving and so funny,” she continues. “Khai, it is the greatest joy and pride of my life to be your mom! Thank you for the best four years of my life.”
Fans excited about Khai’s full name
Snapshots from the birthday party include a Baby Yoda cake, as well as numerous balloons, a bouncy castle in the garden, a pony with a brightly colored mane and a craft table. Fans are particularly happy about one photo: It shows a certificate on which the four-year-old’s full name can be read – Khai Malik. It was not previously known that the little girl has her father’s last name.
Zayn Malik congratulates daughter
It is not known whether Malik was also at his daughter’s birthday party. However, he also dedicated a message to her. The former One Direction singer wrote on a photo of him on the beach with Khai in his arms: “Happy birthday to the most important person in my life. I love you more than words can express.” He is “more than proud to call you my daughter” and is “grateful for every second I get to spend next to you as you grow into the incredible person I know you already are.” Thanks to Khai, his “life has changed forever and without you I would not be the man I am today.”
Gigi Hadid’s sister Bella (27) also dedicated sweet words to her niece on Instagram. In her Instagram story, the model shared several pictures of the little one and wrote: “Your aunt loves you more than all the birds in the sky and all the sand on the beaches.” She also thanked Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik for their “favorite collaboration.”
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik were a couple from 2015 and welcomed their daughter Khai in 2020. In 2021, the two separated because of a dispute between Malik and Hadid’s mother Yolanda (60). Gigi Hadid has been in a relationship with actor Bradley Cooper (49) for several months.
