US actress Olivia Munn and comedian John Mulaney already had a two-year-old son. Now their daughter is born – and Mulaney shares a slightly different baby video.
US comedian John Mulaney (42) and actress Olivia Munn (44) have announced the birth of their second child together. “Méi June Mulaney was born on September 14, 2024 – the year of the dragon,” Munn wrote on Instagram.
Méi means plum in Chinese, explained Munn, who, according to media reports, has Vietnamese-Chinese roots. “I am so proud of my little plum, my little dragon, for making the journey to us. My heart exploded.”
She also posted photos of her and her husband holding their newborn daughter in their arms. One photo also shows a little boy, apparently her two-year-old son Malcolm Hiep. Mulaney posted a video of the birth in which he tenderly holds his daughter in his arms – and she spits on his shoulder.
Méi June Mulaney was born with the help of a surrogate mother, Munn wrote. “I had so many deep feelings because I was not able to carry my daughter.” But she found a “true angel” in the surrogate mother. Munn, who has acted in films such as “X-Men: Apocalypse” and “Violet,” announced in March that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and had subsequently undergone several operations. As reported by US broadcaster CNN, among others, Munn and Mulaney married last July.
