Cattle drive at Oktoberfest: Superstar Ed Westwick celebrates in the Käfer tent

Even the celebrities enjoy the largest folk festival in the world to the fullest – the traditional cattle drive up to the mountain pastures was a lively affair.

Since Saturday, the beer has been flowing freely at the Munich Oktoberfest. An absolute must for celebrities: the cattle drive in the Käfer Wiesn-Schänke, to which Evelyn and Philip Greffenius have been inviting people for more than 25 years. Yesterday, Sunday evening, numerous stars and starlets accepted the invitation, including “Gossip Girl” star Ed Westwick (37), who traveled to the Bavarian capital with his wife Amy Jackson (32) and was dressed appropriately in traditional costume. “It’s really crazy here! We’re happy to be here,” said the Brit on his arrival at the event. “The atmosphere is incredible.”

Oliver Pocher uses the Oktoberfest as a “singles exchange”

Among the approximately 1,000 guests was model and singer Anna Ermakova (24), who brought her mother Angela (56) as her date. “I feel very, very good to be here and to meet so many people, to eat and drink beer. This is not a normal day for me,” she explained to the news agency spot on news. “I’m having so much fun here. I feel very cool in my dirndl – especially with my cowboy boots.”

Comedian Oliver Pocher (46), who is visiting the Oktoberfest as a single for the first time this year after his divorce from ex-wife Amira Aly (31), is still looking for a date. “It’s interesting,” says Pocher, joking: “For me, it’s just a singles’ exchange: see what’s available and take what comes.” Ex-wife and podcast partner Alessandra Meyer-Wölden (41), on the other hand, came to the event with male company – she was with her new partner Alexander Müller.

Barbara Meier and Victoria Swarovski in their own traditional costume collection

But the Oktoberfest on Sunday evening is not just a place for singles and partners, it is also a catwalk for the rich and beautiful. Former “Germany’s next Top Model” winner Barbara Meier (38) appeared at the cattle drive with her husband Klemens Hallmann (48) and wore an emerald green dirndl from her own sustainable collection with Angermaier. Sustainability is the most important thing for her when it comes to traditional costumes, says the model: “Dirndls are such a traditional piece of clothing, they have to be sustainable.”

Also dressed in her own traditional costume collection, but not in the classic dirndl, was presenter Victoria Swarovski (31). She wore tight-fitting brown leather trousers with a silver charivari and a matching bodice, underneath a long-sleeved lace blouse and a brown leather coat. Ed Westwick’s wife Amy also opted for a dirndl from the Swarovski collection with Krüger.

The focus of the evening was, of course, the delicious food. “That’s what I’m looking forward to most today, because unfortunately there isn’t really any good German food in Dubai, so I’m taking advantage of that,” reveals Georgina Fleur (34). Beer, however, is not to be found in the reality star’s mug: “Yesterday I drank a liter of beer and I felt really sick afterwards. Today I’m skipping the beer and drinking a few mugs of champagne instead.”

Bayern stars also celebrate at the cattle drive

Other guests at the celebration in the Käfer tent were Prime Minister’s wife Karin Baumüller-Söder (51), comedian Michael Mittermeier (58), presenter Verena Kerth (43), celebrity couple Annemarie (46) and Wayne Carpendale (47), reality star Evelyn Burdecki (36), actress Claudelle Deckert (50), singer Joelina Drews (28), model Monica Meier-Ivancan (47), Cheyenne Ochsenknecht (24) with her husband Nino and many more. Some current FC Bayern stars were also spotted in the tent: Manuel Neuer (38), Serge Gnabry (29) and Joshua Kimmich (29) were among the guests.
