Mel Gibson: Rare appearance with two of his nine children

You don’t see this very often: Mel Gibson (68) appeared on the red carpet with two of his nine children. The acting star came with them to the premiere of his new film “Monster Summer” at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles. Gibson was accompanied by his daughter Lucia (14) and his son Lars (7). The seven-year-old is the youngest of the actor’s children.

Family outing in the spotlight

Mel Gibson appeared at the event in a casual look consisting of a navy blue jacket, a white shirt, jeans and black sneakers. Lucia, who comes from Gibson’s relationship with his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva (54), wore a red mini dress, which she combined with gold shoes and an equally shiny clutch as well as subtle jewelry. Her long, dark hair fell from a middle parting and was styled straight over her shoulders. Lars, whose mother is Gibson’s girlfriend Rosalind Ross (34), wore a white shirt and black pants to the film premiere of “Monster Summer” – an adventure horror film directed by David Henrie (35).

Mel Gibson’s other seven children were not seen at the event. The “Mad Max” star has a daughter, Hannah (43), and six sons with his ex-wife Robyn Moore: Christian (42), Edward (42), William (38), Louie (35), Milo (33) and Thomas (25). Robyn Moore and Mel Gibson married in 1980 and separated in 2006. The divorce became final in 2011. After separating from his wife, the Hollywood star was in a relationship with Oksana Grigorieva. Daughter Lucia was born in 2009. The couple separated in 2010. Gibson has been in a relationship with Rosalind Ross since 2014, who gave birth to their son Lars Gerard in 2017.

Perhaps Mel Gibson will soon appear on the red carpet with his children more often: His next directorial work, the action thriller “Flight Risk” with Mark Wahlberg (53) in the leading role, will be released in early 2025.
