Good news in the British royal family: Princess Beatrice, one of King Charles III’s nieces, is expecting her second child.
The British royal family is expecting new blood. Princess Beatrice (36), a niece of King Charles III, is pregnant again. Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce that they are expecting their second child together in the spring, Buckingham Palace said.
“His Majesty the King has been informed and both families are pleased with the news,” the statement said. Beatrice is the older daughter of Charles’ brother Prince Andrew (64) and his ex-wife Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson (64).
Soon there will be five of us
Beatrice and her husband (40) already have a daughter together – Sienna Elizabeth (3) was also named after the late Queen Elizabeth II – and a son. However, Wolfie (8) comes from Mapelli Mozzi’s previous relationship.
The British royal family has had a difficult year in which both Charles (75) and his daughter-in-law Princess Kate (42) made cancer diagnoses public. Beatrice’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, has also been treated for cancer.
There is now good news about the pregnancy. Two photos of the family were also published to make the announcement. Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie (34), is also a mother. She gave birth to her second son last year.
