The exports of Cordova they grew a 16.7% during the first half of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. In this way, the Mediterranean province totaled sales of goods abroad for US$4,957 million, compared to US$4,250 million of the initial six months of last year.

The data comes from a survey carried out by the Commercial Intelligence Area of ​​ProCórdoba and indicates that the main destinations of Córdoba products were Brazil, China, Vietnam, Chile and Indonesia.

According to the information, in comparison with the country-level data available from the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC), Córdoba exports represent 13% of total Argentine exports in this period. (38,176 million dollars from Argentina versus 4,956 from Córdoba).

Another fact that emerges from the report is that, among the products sold to the world from Córdoba, the top five come from the primary sector: corn, soybeans, peanuts, wheat and milk. It is worth noting that these data do not include sales of services to external markets, where the Province has a significant presence.

Among the destinations that had the most purchases of Cordoba products, The MERCOSUR region stands out, led by Brazil. About 716 million dollars were exported to this country (14% of the total). Among the five goods that registered the most income are those of primary origin and in fifth place, exports of auto parts.

On the other hand, the countries where the most Cordoba exports were registered are China, worth 434 million dollars; Vietnam, for 376 million; Chile, for 213 million; and Indonesia, by 208. In all cases, these are primary sector goods.

May: peak of foreign sales

In the comparison of the monthly behavior of exports, It was observed that May was the month where a peak in foreign sales was reached (967 million dollars), with a slight retraction in June (913 million).
