Abuse, threats, sex parties: Rapper P. Diddy is facing serious allegations. He rejects her. Now more alleged victims are coming forward.
There are dozens of new allegations against US rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, 54, who has already been accused of numerous sexual crimes and is in custody. A law firm in Houston, Texas, said at a press conference that it was representing 120 people – 60 women and 60 men – with allegations against Combs.
The allegations included sexual assault and abuse, including of minors. According to the information, the crimes have mostly taken place at parties or events in New York and Los Angeles since 1991. “One of the entertainment industry’s biggest secrets, which was no longer a secret, has now come to light,” said the law firm’s boss, Tony Buzbee. “I expect we will begin filing the lawsuits in the next 30 days.”
P. Diddy’s legal team: allegations false
The allegations were “false” and “defamatory,” said Erica Wolff from Combs’ legal team at the request of the German Press Agency. Combs looks forward to proving his innocence in court.
With hits like “I’ll Be Missing You” and “Bad Boy For Life”, Combs was one of the most successful rappers in the world in recent decades. Over the course of his career he has used the pseudonyms “Puff Daddy”, “P. Diddy” and now “Diddy”, among others. He has been in custody for around two weeks. The rapper is accused of sex trafficking, organized crime and other crimes. Combs pleaded not guilty. There are also already several civil lawsuits alleging sexual abuse.
The rapper’s legal team is currently seeking his release from custody and has appealed a judge’s decision not to release Combs conditionally until the trial begins. There was initially no reaction from the court. A date for a possible start of the trial was not initially set.
