Companies that have the certificate will have the annual guarantee that they must present for their foreign trade operations reduced by 50%.

The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) added a new benefit for companies that are under the domiciliary customs regime and also have the highest category of the program Authorized Economic Operator (AEO). From now on, firms that meet both requirements will see the performance guarantees they must present to carry out their exports and imports reduced by 50%.

In this way, the organization led by Florencia Misrahi advances with measures that allow reducing unnecessary costs for productive sectors.

AFIP: which companies the measure is aimed at

The decision was implemented through the General Resolution 5,579/2024, published in the Official Gazette, and is aimed at those companies that have a domiciliary customs office within their plants.

In that sense, the norm seeks to encourage the private sector to join the OAS program, within the scope of the Regulatory Framework to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade (SAFE) of the World Customs Organization (WCO).
