That was a close call for Justin Timberlake fans in New Jersey: they only found out on the evening of the performance that the concert was not taking place. The US singer promises compensation.
Justin Timberlake (43) canceled his concert in the US city of New Jersey planned for Tuesday evening (local time) at short notice. In an Instagram post that evening, he apologized to his fans. The reason is “an injury that prevents me from performing,” the pop star wrote. According to “Billboard” magazine, the post was only published shortly before the actual entrance to the concert hall in New Jersey.
He himself is “so disappointed”, but is working on finding a new date for the concert as quickly as possible. “I promise to make it up to you and give you the show you all deserve,” the “Cry Me A River” singer’s post read.
He did not provide any details about his injury. According to Timberlake’s website, tickets were still available for the next concerts scheduled as part of his “Forget Tomorrow World Tour” in Philadelphia on Friday and in Washington on Sunday.
